Kitchen Notes + Storage Tips
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat for best flavor and texture.
- Science Bite: Blue cheese contains butyrate—a fatty acid that supports gut lining and insulin sensitivity.
Why does squash help reduce carb load?
Squash provides fiber and bulk with minimal sugar—this slows digestion and helps balance blood sugar when paired with fats like cheese and beef.
